The 10A Flowmeter
The Fox Model 10A Flowmeter incorporates mass thermal flow technology that operates on the law that fluids absorb heat. A heated sensor placed in the gas stream transfers heat to the gas in proportion to the mass flow rate. Using a bridge circuit, one sensor detects the gas temperature; a second sensor is maintained at a constant temperature above the gas temperature. The temperature difference results in a power demand that equals the gas mass flow rate. This circuit maintains accurate flow measurement over large temperature and pressure ranges. The Fox Model 10A Thermal Mass Flowmeter can be installed in hazardous areas and is FM and CSA approved.
